We are honored to share our Mission and Vision:
The Mission of the not-for-profit Miss Alexandria Organization is to provide a venue for the young women of Virginia to earn scholarships for higher education while growing into successful leaders, participating in community service relevant to the City of Alexandria, developing unique talents and enhancing their personal grace, style and communication skill.
It is the Vision of the Miss Alexandria Organization to engage all citizens, organizations and businesses within the City of Alexandria in the realization of the Miss Alexandria Organization Mission and to spread the positive effect of the Miss Alexandria Organization throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia and the United States of America.
Our Miss Alexandria Organization Logo features green lettering in honor of the City of Alexandria receiving the highest certification - Platinum - for the Virginia Municipal League's Go Green Government Challenge. The City received maximum points for the innovative adoption of the Eco-City Environmental Charter, the first of its kind, and Environmental Action Plan 2030. Alexandria also received recognition for its new and progressive Green Building policy for multi-family and commercial structures. For these efforts, Alexandria, we salute you!
