As a sponsor of the Miss Alexandria Organization, it is encouraging to know that you are investing in the future generation through education. There is a great sense of pride when you know you are enabling the young women of today to become the leaders of tomorrow.
With that in mind, it is our desire to offer businesses, organizations and all other interested individuals the opportunity to become a part of impacting the young women of today as we provide scholarships through the Miss Alexandria Organization, a local affiliate of the Miss America Organization. Each year, more than $40 million in cash and tuition scholarship assistance is made available to young women across the nation who participate in Miss America Organization competition, making it one of the nation's leading achievement programs as well as the world's largest provider of scholarship assistance for young women. Only $350,000 of that $40 million is awarded at the annual Miss America competition so most of that scholarship assistance comes from state programs and local preliminaries like Miss Alexandria.
